Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from Selah Lifestyle at selahlifestyle.co.uk. Please read them before you order. They don’t affect your legal rights as a UK consumer.

Ordering

When you place an order, you’ll receive an email confirming we’ve received it. A contract is formed when we confirm your order or dispatch it, whichever comes first. If we can’t fulfil your order, for example because of a pricing error or an item we can’t make, we’ll let you know and give you a full refund.

Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown on each product page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order.

Handmade pieces

Every piece is shaped, stamped and glazed by hand in our Kent studio. Small variations in size, shape, colour, glaze and lettering are part of the character of handmade ceramics and are not faults. Photos are as accurate as possible, but your piece may differ slightly from the one shown, and colours can vary between screens.

Made-to-order and bespoke pieces

Made-to-order pieces are dispatched within 4–6 weeks. Bespoke pieces made to your own specification, such as a custom scripture or name, are made especially for you, so they can’t be cancelled or returned unless they’re faulty. Please check spelling and wording carefully before ordering.

Delivery

Delivery times and costs are explained in our Shipping policy. Responsibility for your order passes to you once it has been delivered to the address you gave us.

Care and use

Please follow the care instructions on each product page. Most of our pieces are hand wash only and are not suitable for the dishwasher, microwave, oven or freezer. Ceramics can chip or break if dropped. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse or not following care instructions.

Discounts and gift cards

Discount codes can’t be exchanged for cash, can only be used once per customer unless stated otherwise, and can’t be combined with other offers unless stated. Gift cards can’t be exchanged for cash or refunded.

Our liability

If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure, up to the value of your order. We don’t exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Your information

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy policy.

Intellectual property

All designs, photos and text on this website belong to Selah Lifestyle and may not be copied or used without our permission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
