I Am With You Truth Tile

I Am With You Truth Tile

A small, flat stoneware tile hand-stamped with one of scripture's most repeated promises: "I am with you." No colour, no gloss — just the words pressed into clay, letter by letter, and left to speak for themselves.

The tile

Each Truth Tile is a flat ceramic square, roughly 100mm x 100mm, made from stoneware and fired to a high, fully vitrified temperature. It's left in its natural matte finish rather than glazed, so the lettering reads through soft shadow and indentation instead of paint. It can be propped on a shelf or nightstand, set in a prayer corner, or used as a small wall tile.

The phrase

"I am with you" is stamped across two lines — "I am" and "with you" — in the same individually stamped, typewriter-style lettering used across the collection. It's a promise that recurs throughout scripture in different settings and translations — including Isaiah 41:10, Joshua 1:9, Genesis 26:24 and Matthew 28:20. [CONFIRM REQUIRED] — which specific reference and translation, if any, is intended, given how many passages use this wording.

Christian meaning

Rather than pointing to one particular story, this phrase captures a promise that threads through the whole of scripture: that presence is offered in hard and uncertain moments, not just resolution. Selah Lifestyle offers it as steady company for a season, not a guarantee of a particular outcome.

How to use it

Sit it on a windowsill, a desk, a bedside table, or anywhere it will be seen in a quiet moment. Many customers keep a piece like this somewhere they'll see it during a hard week — a hospital bag, a new home, a desk during exams.

Gifting

A steadying gift for someone going through illness, bereavement, a house move, a new job, or any season that feels uncertain. Works well as a sympathy gift, a "thinking of you" gift, or an encouragement gift more generally.

Handmade character

Each tile is handmade and hand-stamped, so small natural variations in stamp depth, edge shape and surface texture between individual pieces are normal — part of what makes it a handmade piece rather than a flaw to expect uniformity against.
