Salad Bowl – "There Is Change In The Air" | Hand-Stamped Ceramic Bowl

A bowl for the start of something new

This handmade ceramic salad bowl is hand-stamped with the words "There is change in the air. Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place," stamped in two concentric lines that wrap around the wide well of the bowl. It's finished in a glossy cream glaze, with the phrase stamped in soft blue lettering.

The phrase

This phrase comes from Song of Songs 2:13 : "Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me." It leans into a season of transition — a call to rise up and move toward something higher, together.

Handmade character

Every piece is hand-shaped and hand-stamped, so small variations in glaze, stamp depth, texture and shape between individual bowls are normal, part of what makes each one unique, not a flaw. Because this phrase is long, it's stamped in two concentric lines around the well, so parts of the lettering will read upside-down or at an angle depending on where you're standing - a natural consequence of fitting the full phrase around a circular bowl, not a fault.

Use and gifting

Use it as a salad bowl, a sharing bowl for sides, or a serving centrepiece at the table. Its language of change and moving forward together makes it a meaningful gift to mark a new season - a new home, a new job, an engagement, or simply as encouragement for someone stepping into something unfamiliar.
