Square Trinket Tray – She Tastes

Savouring the good

This square trinket tray is hand-shaped in soft cream glaze and hand-stamped with "she tastes," the words stacked across its centre in two lines. It's a small tray for rings, earrings and everyday trinkets, and a small nudge to notice and enjoy the good things already in front of her.

The phrase

"She tastes" is found in Proverbs 31:18 : "She tastes and experiences a better substance, and her shining light will not be extinguished, no matter how dark the night." Here, the phrase is used more simply and personally, as an encouragement to slow down, savour and truly notice the good in everyday life, rather than rushing past it.

Handmade character

Each tray is hand-built and hand-stamped, so the edges have a soft, slightly waved line rather than a perfectly straight one, and the glaze pools and settles a little differently on every piece. These small variations in shape, glaze and stamp depth are part of what makes each tray one of a kind - not a flaw, but the mark of something made by hand.

Use

Sized to sit on a bedside table, console or windowsill, the tray is designed to catch rings, earrings and small everyday trinkets, and to sit quietly in view as a daily nudge to slow down and notice the good.

Gifting

A lovely gift for a friend who's learning to slow down after a busy or difficult season, a keen cook or host, or anyone who could use a gentle reminder to enjoy life's small pleasures rather than rush past them. Well suited to a birthday, a self-care gift, or a "just because."
