The Old Has Gone Ceramic Truth Tile — Handmade Christian Wall Plaque

A quiet statement about starting again

"The old has gone" is stamped in blue along the edge of this handmade ceramic Truth Tile - a short, settled line that speaks to renewal, fresh starts and the possibility of change. It doesn't ask anything of the person holding it; it simply states something true.

The design

Made from stoneware fired at a high temperature for durability, this tile uses Selah Lifestyle's blue-infill stamp treatment, so the lettering reads as a soft blue against the natural, matte stoneware body rather than through shadow alone. The phrase wraps across four lines and is stamped in a column along one edge of the tile rather than centred across its face - a placement shared with a small number of other pieces in the range.

The phrase

This wording comes from 2 Corinthians 5:17 ("...the old has gone, the new is here!"), a verse often connected to the idea of new life and transformation in Christian faith.

Use

Designed to sit on a shelf, windowsill, desk or prayer corner, or to be propped against a wall as a quiet visual reminder. These truth tiles could also be used as rustic coasters.

Gifting

A meaningful gift for someone at the start of something new - a fresh season, a new home, a recovery, a decision to change direction. Well suited to birthdays, new beginnings, or an encouragement gift for a friend in transition.

Handmade character

Each Truth Tile is handmade and hand-stamped, so small natural variations in stamp depth, texture, shape and edge finish between individual pieces are normal - part of what makes each tile genuinely one of a kind, not a flaw.
