Wave of Joy Round Trinket Tray

Wave of Joy Round Trinket Tray

A small round ceramic tray with the word "joy" hand-stamped again and again, curling across the tray in a gentle spiral - like a wave breaking, or joy simply spreading outward. Part of Selah Lifestyle's Round Trinket Tray collection, it's designed to sit on a bedside table, console or windowsill, catching rings, earrings and the small things that need a place to land.

The tray

Flat and shallow with gently sloped sides, the tray has the soft, slightly uneven edge typical of handmade pottery, finished in a glossy cream glaze. Rather than the collection's usual centred two-line phrase, this piece carries the word "joy" stamped in small navy lowercase lettering more than twenty times, arranged in a curling spiral that sweeps from one side of the tray to the other.

The phrase

Joy is one of the most repeated notes in scripture - from "the joy of the Lord is your strength" to joy named among the fruit of the Spirit. Rather than quoting one verse, this piece lets the word itself do the work, repeated until it feels less like a single statement and more like something spreading.

Handmade character

Every tray is handmade and individually hand-stamped, letter by letter and word by word, so the exact spacing and curl of the "joy" spiral will vary slightly from piece to piece - part of what makes each tray one-of-a-kind rather than a flaw.

Use

• Catch-all tray for rings, earrings and small jewellery
• Bedside, console or windowsill display
• A small, meaningful object to keep in view

Gifting

A joyful, celebratory gift - well suited to a birthday, a new baby, an engagement, a graduation or any "good news" moment, as well as a general encouragement gift for a Christian friend, sister or mum.

Care

Hand wash only, in warm water with a mild detergent, and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth before use. Not recommended for the dishwasher, microwave, oven or freezer. As with any ceramic piece, handle gently, it will chip or break if dropped onto a hard surface. With hand washing and gentle handling, it's designed for everyday, long-term use.
