Rest Mini Ring Bowl

A small ceramic ring bowl hand-stamped with the word "rest" - permission to stop, if only for as long as it takes to set down a ring. Part of Selah Lifestyle's Mini Ring Bowl collection, it's designed to sit on a bedside table, dressing table or by the sink, holding a ring, a pair of earrings, or whatever small thing needs a safe place to land.

The bowl

With deeper, rounded sides than a flat ring dish, this piece has the gently irregular shape typical of hand-formed pottery, finished in a glossy cream glaze. "rest" is hand-stamped in navy lowercase serif lettering as a short, straight line across the lower centre of the interior, rather than curving around the rim - a simpler, quieter placement suited to a single short word.

The phrase

"Rest" echoes Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest".

Handmade character

Every piece is handmade and hand-stamped, so small natural variations in glaze pooling, stamp depth and shape between individual bowls are normal - part of what makes each one unique, not a flaw.

Care

Hand wash only, in warm water with a mild detergent, and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth before use. Not recommended for the dishwasher, microwave, oven or freezer. As with any ceramic piece, handle gently - it will chip or break if dropped onto a hard surface. With hand washing and gentle handling, it's designed for everyday, long-term use.
