She Tastes Round Trinket Tray

Round Trinket Tray – She Tastes

A small round ceramic tray, hand-stamped across the centre with the words "she tastes" - a quiet nod to the woman who makes a point of gathering people round a table and making sure everyone leaves fuller than they arrived. Part of Selah Lifestyle's Round Trinket Tray collection, it's designed to sit on a bedside table, console or windowsill, catching rings, earrings and the small things that need a place to land.

The tray

Flat and shallow with gently sloped sides, the tray has the soft, slightly uneven edge typical of handmade pottery, finished in a glossy cream glaze. "she tastes" is stamped in lowercase serif lettering, centred across two lines in navy, sitting flat in the middle of the tray rather than following the rim.

The phrase

"She Tastes" is from Proverbs 31:18 "She tastes and experiences a better substance, and her shining light will not be extinguished, no matter how dark the night."

Handmade character

Every tray is handmade and hand-stamped, so small natural variations in glaze, stamp depth and shape between individual pieces are normal - part of what makes each one its own, rather than a flaw.

Use

• Catch-all tray for rings, earrings and small jewellery
• Bedside, console or windowsill display
• A small, hospitable object to keep in view - by the kitchen, the fruit bowl, or wherever she does her hosting

Gifting

A lovely gift for a friend who loves to cook, host or feed people, a house-warming for someone about to open their table to others, or a thank-you for the friend whose kitchen has fed more people than she'll ever count. Well suited to a birthday, a hostess gift, or "just because."
