Salad Bowl – "The Season Has Changed" | Hand-Stamped Ceramic Bow

A bowl for the season you've stepped into

This handmade ceramic salad bowl is hand-stamped with the words "The season has changed," stamped in a single line across the well. It's finished in a glossy cream glaze, with a mottled, cell-like blue glaze pattern and fine speckling across part of the bowl, and the phrase stamped in soft blue lettering.

The phrase

"The season has changed" is a simple, reflective statement that comes from Song of Solomon 2: 11 in the Passion Translation : “The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth.” It speaks to a season that has genuinely shifted, a chapter that has closed and a new one that has begun.

Handmade character

Every piece is hand-shaped and hand-stamped, so small variations in glaze, stamp depth, texture and shape between individual bowls are normal, part of what makes each one unique, not a flaw. The mottled blue glaze pattern on this piece is a distinctive decorative touch that adds to its individual character.

Use and gifting

Use it as a salad bowl, a sharing bowl for sides, or a serving centrepiece at the table. Its reflective wording makes it a meaningful gift to mark a season that has genuinely turned - after a loss, a move, a recovery, a new chapter of faith, or any moment worth acknowledging with quiet encouragement.
