Surrender Ceramic Truth Tile

A word that asks something of us, gently

"surrender" is stamped in lowercase along the edge of this handmade ceramic Truth Tile — not as a command, but as an invitation to let go of what we're gripping too tightly. It's a word that can feel difficult on first read and quietly relieving on the second: a reminder that faith isn't about holding everything together ourselves.

The design

Made from stoneware fired at a high temperature for durability, this tile is left in its natural, undyed finish, so the lettering reads through the shadow and indentation of the stamp itself rather than through colour. Unlike most of the range, "surrender" is stamped in a column running along one edge of the tile rather than centred across its face — a quieter, more understated placement suited to the word itself.

The phrase

Surrender is a recurring theme in Christian life — the letting go of control, striving or fear in favour of trust. Selah Lifestyle has not tied this piece to one specific verse; several passages touch on surrender in different ways, and the exact reference is left open [CONFIRM REQUIRED] rather than assumed. What's certain is the intention behind the word: an honest, unforced invitation, not a demand.

Use

Designed to sit on a shelf, windowsill, desk or prayer corner, or to be propped against a wall as a quiet visual reminder. [Wall-mounting fixing — CONFIRM REQUIRED.]

Gifting

A meaningful gift for someone walking through a season of letting go — a career change, a loss, a hard decision, or simply a period of learning to trust more and control less. Well suited to birthdays, encouragement gifts, or a "just because" gift for a friend in a season of change.

Handmade character

Each Truth Tile is handmade and hand-stamped, so small natural variations in stamp depth, texture, shape and edge finish between individual pieces are normal — part of what makes each tile genuinely one of a kind, not a flaw.
