You Are Mine Truth Tile

"you are mine" – three words of belonging, spoken over a life

"you are mine" is hand-stamped into this handmade ceramic Truth Tile – three short words that speak of being known, chosen and held. It doesn't ask anything of the person holding it; it simply states something true.

The design

Made from stoneware fired at a high temperature for durability, this tile is left in its natural, matte stoneware finish with no colour infill, so the lettering is read through light and shadow alone – a soft, tonal look that changes gently as the light moves across it. Each letter is hand-pressed in a classic typewriter-style face, all in lower case. The phrase runs along a single line in the lower half of the tile, with a wide expanse of open clay above it.

The phrase

This wording is from Isaiah 43:1, where God speaks tenderly to his people, reminding them that he made them, rescued them and knows them by name. The full verse reads: "But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine." (NRSV)

Use

Designed to sit on a shelf, windowsill, desk or prayer corner, or to be propped against a wall as a quiet visual reminder.

Gifting

A meaningful gift for marking belonging – well suited to baptisms, christenings, dedications, confirmations, a new baby, adoption or welcoming someone into a family. It also makes a tender encouragement gift for anyone feeling overlooked or alone who needs reminding that they are known and loved.

Handmade character

Each Truth Tile is handmade and hand-stamped, so small natural variations in stamp depth, texture, shape and edge finish between individual pieces are normal – part of what makes each tile genuinely one of a kind, not a flaw.
